We are no longer
seeking donations or volunteers because we are winding down
our activities after achieving our nanotechnology research
acceleration goals.
This page
describes how people have helped us historically.
Make
a Donation
There are many ways you can help NFT.
First and most important
is funding. If you would like to donate money to NFT
you can do this by sending a check to NFT, 3307 Virginia St,
Houston, TX 77098-2137 along with a donation
form that can be downloaded here. You will see several
standard donation categories and their associated benefits
including periodic updates on nanotechnology developments.
Naturally, you can make a donation in any amount other than
the standard plans. Your donation is tax deductible for federal
and income taxes, and a receipt for your donation will be
provided. Foundations that require a copy of our IRS
determination letter or other supporting material can obtained
by contacting
us.

By making this donation I understand that it will be used
in accord with the priorities set by the Nanotechnology Foundation
of Texas, Inc. I understand that the Nanotechnology
Foundation of Texas, Inc. reserves the right to set priorities,
and allocate and distribute funds, for the benefit of nanotechnology
in Texas in its sole discretion so long as the use of funds
is consistent with its IRS nonprofit status.

We also appreciate individuals who volunteer their time.
We have a group of over 40 volunteers that help on various
projects. This group meets as required to coordinate
their work and be updated on other's work. If you would
be interested in participating, contact
us with a brief background on yourself. If you have
specific areas of interest, let us know. We will let
you know the time, date and location of the next volunteers'
meeting.
Projects
that volunteers have assisted with in the past include developing
and updating our Web site, researching and preparing background
material (like the Texas Nanotechnology Companies and University
Researchers Directories), planning and coordinating of our
conferences and meetings, and raising money. These efforts
are rewarding and give volunteers an opportunity to meet people
involved in the growing nano community in Texas.
